Outline of the "Tokyo Game Show 2001 Autumn"
The theme is "Let's Play Together"

Computer Entertainment Software Association (CESA, Chairman:Kagemasa Kozuki, Location:Nishi Shinbashi, Minato-ku, Tokyo) will hold "TOKYO GAME SHOW 2001 AUTUMN", with the theme "Let's Play Together", from October 12, 2001 (Fri.) to October 14, 2001 (Sun.) at Makuhari Messe (Chiba-city, Chiba / Nippon Convention Center).

The total number of exhibitors is expected to be 47 companies. The total number of booths is planned to be 1,222 (as of July 16).

The "Tokyo Game Show" was born in August 1996. Since then, this event has expanded the degree of distinction and its role as an up-to-date information dispatching base of computer entertainment software industry, and has become fixed as quite an important event which attracts attention from overseas as well as within Japan.

Due to the appearance of the portable phone with the complete communication environment, the personal computer, the platform which contains network functions such as PDA, and the new video game machine with high performance, the software these days is accomplishing transfiguration to the computer entertainment which all people can enjoy at where ever they are. In addition, the diversification of the platform has led to the extension of user layer and user needs. As a result, the contents offered are fusing with various entertainments, e.g. music, movies and sports. The environment surrounding this industry is evolving rapidly.

At the 11th show, "Tokyo Game Show 2001 Autumn", we introduce everything about the world of computer entertainment that is widening more and more, and dispatch the latest information to the world on this industry in our country which leads the world.
