2. Programs for the Event Stage finalized

Programs for the Event Stage to be performed on the main stage (Hall 7) in the Tokyo Game Show 2001 Autumn have been determined.
A variety of stage programs will be presented to visitors, which will include our now regular charity auction, an informative talk show by game creators, a companion costume contest judged by votes by visitors and various events by participating companies.

3. Outline of "The 8th Symposium on Human Resource Development"

The association will hold "The Symposium on Human Resource Development" for instructors at game-related special schools on the first day of the Tokyo Game Show.
For Part 1 of this 8th symposium, Mr. Yoshiki Okamoto, senior managing director of CAPCON CO., LTD. will talk about difficulties he has faced in business and the way he has developed skills based on his experiences. Part 2 will focus on employment in the game industry. Methods of recruitment and the focal points in hiring will be discussed specifically from specialists' standpoints such as programmers and designers. This time, a representative from Digital Media Lab Co., Ltd., a CG production company closely related to this industry will explain the way they recruit designers.
