The COMPUTER ENTERTAINMENT SUPPLIER'S ASSOCIATION (hereinafter referred to as "ASSOCIATION") hereby declares that it shall appropriately treat personal information of those who use services provided by ASSOCIATION based on the following. The meanings of the terms used herein shall conform to the Act on the Protection of Personal Information (hereinafter referred to as the "Act").

  1. Acquisition of Personal InformationASSOCIATION shall acquire, retain, and use the following personal information only within the scope necessary for provision of services in line with the business purpose of ASSOCIATION.
    1. Information related to a relevant individual: Name, address, postal code, gender, birthdate, telephone number, email address, or the like
    2. Information related to transactions: Information, etc. related to transactions and use history
    3. Information acquired when using services: Online identifiers, such as cookie ID, information concerning terminal(s) in use, location information, browsing history, and other service usage information (including access logs, IP addresses, browser information, and browser language setting, or the like
    4. Other information: Information, etc. related to inquiries to or communication with ASSOCIATION, or the like
  2. Purpose of Use of Personal InformationASSOCIATION shall limit the scope of use of personal information to ASSOCIATION's business activities and services incidental thereupon, such as communications related to inquiries and guidance for various events.
  3. Provision of Personal InformationASSOCIATION shall not disclose to a third party personal information acquired thereby without obtaining the consent of the relevant individual(s) except where otherwise required under the provisions of laws and regulations; provided, however, that ASSOCIATION may supply the same to entrustment business operators with which ASSOCIATION has executed confidentiality agreements related to personal information within the scope necessary for achieving the purpose of use.
  4. Management of Personal InformationASSOCIATION shall strictly store and manage personal information acquired thereby, shall undertake related security control measures, including measures to prevent leakage to parties outside ASSOCIATION, appropriate security measures against possible breach, destruction, or falsification of the same through unlawful acts, or the like, and shall protect personal information. It is requested that inquiries about the nature of specific security control measures undertaken by ASSOCIATION be made using the contact information set forth in Paragraph 9.
  5. Disclosure to Individuals of Personal InformationIn relation to personal information of a given individual held by ASSOCIATION and records regarding third-party provision of such personal information or records when such personal information is provided by a third party, if such individual desires to receive information or records relating to such individual, after identifying whether a requesting party is an applicable individual (or an agent thereof), ASSOCIATION shall respond thereto via the method acceptable to such individual (i.e., either via electronic data or in writing, with such method to be selected by ASSOCIATION if no preference is designated); provided, however, that ASSOCIATION may not disclose relevant information or records in whole or in part in cases in which a life, body, asset, or another right or benefit of such individual or a third party is likely to be harmed, in cases in which such disclosure is likely to remarkably hinder the implementation by ASSOCIATION of its services, and/or in cases in which violation of laws or regulations would take place as a result of such disclosure.
  6. Revision, Addition, or Deletion of Personal InformationIf a relevant individual desires to revise, add, or delete personal information thereof retained by ASSOCIATION (hereinafter collectively referred to as "Revision, etc."), after determining that the requesting party is in fact the individual in question (or an agent thereof), ASSOCIATION shall respond thereto; provided, however, that ASSOCIATION may not do so in cases in which changing the relevant personal information held by ASSOCIATION would create a falsity, in cases in which special procedures have been prescribed under the provisions of relevant laws or regulations, or in cases in which Revision, etc. is unnecessary considering the purpose thereof.
  7. Suspension of Use or Erasure of Individual InformationIf a relevant individual desires the discontinuance of the utilization of or the erasure of personal information thereof retained by ASSOCIATION (hereinafter collectively referred to as "Discontinuance of Utilization, etc."), after determining that the requesting party is in fact the individual in question (or an agent thereof), ASSOCIATION shall respond thereto; provided, however, that ASSOCIATION may not do so in cases in which a reason for Discontinuance of Utilization, etc. set forth in the Act is not applicable, such as cases in which the same has been appropriately handled within the scope necessary for achievement of the purpose of use identified in advance or cases in which the same has been collected via the appropriate method, and in cases in which it is difficult for ASSOCIATION to conduct Discontinuance of Utilization, etc. and ASSOCIATION has undertaken alternative measures necessary for protection of the rights and benefits of such individual. It should be noted that if Discontinuance of Utilization, etc. takes place with regard to relevant information in whole or in part, ASSOCIATION may not conduct provision of services, transactions, etc. in line with services desired by the relevant individual.
  8. Use of CookiesThe ASSOCIATION website uses cookies. Cookies are small portions of information stored in web browsers in order to identify website visitors, and ASSOCIATION may use cookies to collect information such as that related to tendencies and patterns regarding behaviors on the website. The outline, the purpose of use, etc. of information to be collected is described as follows.
    1. Outline of information to be collected: Information identifying terminals that have accessed the ASSOCIATION website, status of viewing and use by visitors of such website, etc.
    2. Purpose of use of information to be collected: Collecting, recording, analyzing, etc. of information described in (1) above for the purpose of improvement of the ASSOCIATION website and services provided by ASSOCIATION (including with regard to cases involving omission of entry on the login screen)
    3. Cookie-related names (tool providers): Google Analytics (Google Inc.), A-Form (ARK-Web co., ltd.), and SmartCore (EastGate Corp.)
    If a relevant individual does not desire that ASSOCIATION collect relevant information, such individual may delete or invalidate Cookies via such individual's browser setting. Please confirm the relevant method of changing browser setting with the browser service provider.

    Google Analytics Data collected through the use of Google Analytics shall be managed in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy.

  9. Contact Information When inquiring about and making requests for personal information held by ASSOCIATION, please contact ASSOCIATION at the following address and enclose documents identifying the relevant individual (e.g., a photocopy of a driver's license, passport, or insurance card).

Modification of Privacy PolicyASSOCIATION may modify its Privacy Policy from time to time due to changes in laws or regulations, or for other reasons, and if such modification takes place, ASSOCIATION shall post notification thereof on its website. Therefore, please carefully confirm the content of the latest Privacy Policy posted on the website. The most recent version of the Privacy Policy shall be applicable to personal information acquired by ASSOCIATION at all times.
